Immunize Colorado Education Series: Maternal Immunizations & Perinatal Hepatitis B Prevention

Maternal and neonatal immunizations are essential in providing protection against serious infectious diseases for new mothers and infants. Please join Immunize Colorado and public health experts to discuss the importance of immunizations in protecting new mothers and their children. At this virtual education event, presenters will discuss:
- An overview of maternal and neonatal vaccination recommendations for maternal and infant populations
- Trends in vaccination coverage in pregnant women and infants in the US and Colorado
- The impact of COVID-19 on maternal immunizations and considerations for providing immunizations during the pandemic
- A review of immunization guidelines and strategies for ensuring high maternal vaccination coverage and hepatitis B birth dose rates
This education event is being presented for healthcare providers, medical students, and anyone else interested in maternal immunization.
This meeting will be offered virtually. There is no registration fee, but registration is required.
