Immunize Colorado is pleased to announce a grant award of $50,000 from Rose Community Foundation to support the work of the Colorado Vaccine Equity Taskforce. The Taskforce was formed with the goal of advancing vaccine equity, pertaining particularly to COVID-19 vaccines, especially as communities of color have been disproportionately impacted by COVID-19 and have been increasingly targeted with vaccine misinformation. Funding from this grant will help support the Taskforce's communications strategy and campaign, engagement and outreach efforts, facilitation and development of other pertinent resources.
Founded in 1995, Rose Community Foundation strives to advance inclusive, engaged and equitable Greater Denver communities through values-driven philanthropy. The Foundation envisions a thriving region strengthened by its diversity and generosity, and utilizes grantmaking, advocacy, donor engagement and community leadership to advance this aspiration.
