Immunize Colorado received a $10,000 grant through "Season To Share" presented by DaVita, the annual holiday fundraising campaign for The Denver Post Community Foundation.
The grant will support the Shots for Tots and Teens program, a partnership between Immunize Colorado, Tri-County Health Department, Aurora Fire Rescue, Thornton Fire Department, Arvada Fire, local Rotary Clubs, Denver Public Health Jefferson County Public Health and Denver Paramedics that offers low- and no-cost Saturday immunization clinics to children and teens throughout the year in Aurora, Denver, Thornton and Arvada.
Through the 2019/2020 campaign, Season To Share distributed over $1.4 million in funds from over 3,900 donors to 55 nonprofit organizations across the Denver metropolitan region focused on children and youth, health and wellness, homelessness, and hunger. Grants are made possible with the generosity of Denver Post readers, the general public, and corporate donations with matching funds by DaVita.
