Ana I’I Brown-Cohen, MPH is originally from upstate New York, and moved to Colorado to pursue her Bachelor’s degree at Colorado College, fell in love with Colorado and his been in the Denver metro area ever since. Currently, Ana serves as the Director of Health Programs at Colorado Access, a non-profit health plan specializing in the integrated management of populations enrolled in public insurance. Ana leads the operation of Colorado Access’ health strategy through the design and implementation of population-level interventions for Medicaid and CHP+ members. This work is instrumental in ensuring delivery of whole person care and specifically, that the right intervention is delivered to the right population, at the right time. Much of this work is focused in the prevention and wellness space including helping members understand the importance of immunizations in disease prevention and improving the overall health and well-being of the community. Ana received her Master’s degree from the University of Colorado’s School of Public Health. Prior to coming to Colorado Access, Ana previously worked at Centura Health, one of Colorado’s largest healthcare systems, where she led a Medicare eligibility and enrollment team that served the Denver Metro Area. She also has experience working in state corrections, mental health, and recovery from substance use.
