Erika Dunnon is a Durham, North Carolina native and specializes in Public Health and Adult Health Education. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. She has also earned a Master of Public Health from Benedictine University and a Master of Education from North Carolina State University. She has worked in administrative roles within health systems in the triangle area of North Carolina. She has also served as a volunteer, certified nursing assistant, and intern within A Helping Hand, a nonprofit which supports Seniors and Adults living with disabilities. More recently over the past couple of years, she has worked within the pharmaceutical industry specifically in Medical Information and Drug Safety. As an AmeriCorps Vista Immunization Outreach and Education Coordinator, she is promoting education and access to vaccinations and primary care services.
