Communications DirectorEmily serves as Immunize Colorado's Communications Director and works to guide the strategy for all Immunize Colorado communications and community outreach initiatives. With her dedication to public policy, public health, social justice and purposeful communication, she works to foster community engagement and awareness for the safety and efficacy of vaccines through science-based, pro-vaccine messaging. Program ManagerSarah joined Immunize Colorado in September, 2021 as the Program Manager. She recently got her Masters in Public Health with a concentration in Health Promotion and Community Health from Texas A&M University. She received her B.S. in Exercise Science and Psychology minor from Grand Valley State University in 2017. After working in the fitness and wellness space in Flint, Michigan for a few years, Sarah learned about the field of public health, and she gained a major interest in health equity and systems-level approaches to improving health in communities. Public Health AssociateKate Matlin joined Immunize Colorado in October 2020 through the Public Health Associate Program with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Kate graduated from Colorado College in 2019, where she received a B.A. in Molecular Biology and completed public health coursework through the School for International Training in Durban, South Africa. Vaccine Equity Program and Outreach ManagerLilian joined Immunize Colorado April 2021 as the Vaccine Equity Program and Outreach Manager. She holds a B.A. in psychology from the University of Ghana and is currently studying for her Master of Health Administration at Metropolitan State University of Colorado. As the Outreach and Program Manager, Lilian evaluates strategic opportunities to create and improve targeted immunization programs. Read More.
Vaccine Equity and Outreach CoordinatorImmunize Colorado welcomed Salymata Mbengue to the team as the organization's new Vaccine Equity Outreach Coordinator in March 2021. A graduate of the University of Colorado with a BA in integrative physiology and a certificate in public health, Saly previously served a medical assistant at Cherry Creek Pediatrics. Read More.
