Emily B. Zadvorny, PharmD, BCPS is a proud clinical pharmacy specialist and professional advocate. A native of Colorado, she earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Arizona and subsequently completed a general pharmacy practice residency and a managed care specialty residency at the University of California San Diego. She is a board-certified pharmacotherapy specialist. Her professional passions are primary care and geriatric medicine, public health, and advancing the pharmacy profession both locally and nationally. Dr. Zadvorny currently serves as the Executive Director for the Colorado Pharmacists Society, the only professional pharmacy association in the state of Colorado. In this role, she has helped influence public policies, and passed several key pieces of legislation to advance pharmacists’ scope of practice and improve patient care in the state of Colorado. In her spare time, she loves to play tennis every chance she can get, while she, her husband and two teenage boys stay busy with travel, youth sports and activities, golf, skiing, fishing and all Colorado has to offer.
