Jeri AjayiĀ is a self-proclaimed community activist. She is the Director of Congregational Health Ministry at Inner City Health, a safety net clinic designed to reach underserved populations. CHM offers primary and secondary preventative health services, including health education, immunizations and biometric screenings, which offer individuals a snapshot of their overall health. Jeri empowers lives through her belief in the human spirit. Her contributions empower families to live longer and healthier lives through the promotion of ownership for oneās health. Jeri has faithfully contributed to Mile High United Way, Money Management International, Sense of Security, Colorado Community Church, the Mayorās African-American Commission and many other local community groups since adopting Denver as home in 2002. Her greatest strengths are a commitment to teamwork and her keen insight and vision for a better tomorrow. No challenge is too difficult for Jeri. She continues to press forward until the job is done. Jeri earned her bachelorās degree in criminology and a masterās degree in public administration from Arkansas State University. She brings over twenty years’ experience in working to improve lives.
