Lila joined Immunize Colorado as an AmeriCorps VISTA member in June 2026. She earned her B.A. in Public Health from the University of Colorado Boulder in May 2026. She worked as a photographer and bicycle mechanic while in school, where she gained interest in public health through her courses. Her passion for public health is shaped by her experiences travelling around the world and observing public health issues throughout her own life. Serving as an AmeriCorps VISTA stood out to her as an opportunity to continue learning about public health while also working to decrease vaccine-preventable disease and promote health equity in Colorado. In her free time, she enjoys rock climbing, photography, and spending time with her family.Ā
