Susanna joined Immunize Colorado in August, 2023 as the Outreach and Communications Fellow through the Public Interest Fellowship Program (PIFP) hosted by Colorado College. She graduated from Colorado College in May 2023 with a major in environmental studies and a minor in education. Previously, Susanna has worked as an environmental educator in a variety of settings, helping students explore and connect to the natural world around them. She served as the outreach coordinator for Sunrise Colorado Springs and as the organizational intern for Community Action Works, a MA organization working to confront those polluting and harming the health of communities. Susanna is excited to apply her experience working with communities on environmental issues to Immunize Colorado’s mission of protecting families, schools, and communities from vaccine preventable diseases and learn more about the world of public health. In her free time, Susanna enjoys hiking, reading, and spending time with her friends and family.
