Ilona joined Immunize Colorado in August 2022 as an AmeriCorps VISTA. Ilona graduated from Whitman College with a BA in Biology in May 2022. She is working as an Immunization Education and Outreach Coordinator based out of Tepeyac Community Health Center in Denver. As an Immunization Outreach Coordinator, her responsibilities include coordinating vaccine clinics and organizing projects to increase access to primary healthcare. Ilona is looking forward to learning more about public health and hopes to continue her education by attending medical school after her year of service.
